Soulful. Americana. Texas.
The Vintage Yell is a duo from North Texas, whose sound can be described as soulful Americana, but goes much deeper than that. Chris Raspante and Jesse Spradlin met while working in the studio and their instant chemistry led them to form a band.
Now signed to Mesquite Street Records, The Vintage Yell has already made a significant mark on the Texas music scene, opening for renowned bands like Kin Faux and Whiskey Myers. They’ve earned three nominations at the Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards, including recognition for Best Americana Band.
Jesse, a Virginia-born, Texas-raised singer-songwriter, comes from a rich musical lineage—her father is a Blues Hall of Famer. Chris, a native Texan, spent nearly two decades in Nashville, where he worked with countless artists, and performed on prestigious stages including The Tonight Show and the Grand Ole Opry. Together, they form an incredible duo with outstanding vocals, great songs, and the musicianship to back it up.
